Current Hiring Positions

Looking for a career sales position in a high-performing family business atmosphere? 

Earnings potential is $40-80K or more for experienced salespeople. This is an inside position with high volume inbound calls. Sales experience with a successful track record is a must.

We are looking for professional salespeople, not order takers – someone who can qualify the customer, discover their needs, sell extended warranties, find and sell parts not in stock, and finish the sale.

Day-to-day tasks:
  • Receive in-bound customer inquiry calls
  • Perform follow-up calls on quotes
  • Sell in-stock inventory
  • Sell out-of-stock inventory
  • Sell extended warranty
  • Resolve customer questions and concerns
  • Maintain clear and organized work area
Experience required:
  • Inside sales: 1 year (Required)
  • Commission-based sales experience
  • Direct customer service experience
  • Office computer experience including excel, word, outlook
Who we’re looking for:
  • Proactive, confident, “hungry” sales associate who can close sales
  • Self-starter, ability to work independently and solve problems
  • Comfortable speaking with customers and vendors
  • Ability to work calmly under stressful situations
  • Ability to stay positive when customers are negative
  • Spanish speaking is a huge plus! 
Ideal candidate: 

Someone with a basic understanding of cars and parts, and an expert understanding of people! You can build and grow a customer base on your own within the company business model according to our values and ethics. Someone with a decent driving record, a good phone voice, someone who shows up on time day after day! 

Position Details:
  • Full-time, Monday through Friday
  • 40 hours per week
  • On site in Jenison, Michigan

Pete’s Auto Parts is looking for highly motivated, hard-working professional automotive technicians and mechanics to join our team. We offer skilled techs a fast-paced growth opportunity in removing parts from vehicles.

You would be working out of an extended cab pickup we supply, removing parts from vehicles – never having to put them back together!

We have a pay program that incentivizes you to work hard, but is totally safe, you will know you’ll never make less than your hourly base rate. Steady 40 hours of work each week.  With the opportunity to hustle and make more on the piece rate pay. We are looking for employees who want to make money and work hard!

Hours are full-time 8am-4:30pm Monday thru Friday… No weekends!

Experience required:
  • At least one year of automotive mechanic experience is required.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Ability to keep your area clean.
  • MUST have your own tools!
